Brad Elkie

President

Brad Elkie, began his career with BMS in 1990 as a Foodservice Sales Representative for Manitoba. At that time, the business operated exclusively in MB, SK, and NW Ontario. Brad was one of just two Foodservice representatives working directly under founder Murray Binner.
Over the years, Brad has been a key part of Binner’s growth as the company expanded to include AB and BC. He became a partner in 2006 and served as Regional Sales Manager for MB and SK for more than 20 years, playing a vital role in driving regional growth and building a strong, dedicated team. In the spring of 2025, Brad was honoured to step into the role of President of Binner Marketing. Brad continues to lead the company with a deep commitment to our customers, partners, and team building on a legacy of trust and excellence.

Murray Binner

COO

Murray Binner, began his career in Foodservice in 1980, following his passion for great food and strong relationships. While our roots are in Foodservice, Binner Marketing & Sales (BMS) has also built a trusted presence in the specialty sections of retail stores, as well as in the gas and convenience sector.
In 1985, Murray’s father, Rollie Binner, founded Binner Marketing. What started as a family business has grown to serve customers across Western Canada. Today, Murray is proud to share ownership with Brad Elkie, Bryan Elkie, Natalie Sample, and Jared Marsh, each bringing their own dedication and expertise to the table. Murray’s passion for this industry has never wavered. And he is deeply committed to our principal partners, our customers, and the incredible team that makes Binner Marketing what it is today. For us, this isn’t just a business—it’s a legacy built to last.

Bryan Elkie

Partner / General Manager Western Canada

Bryan Elkie, began his career with BMS following university in 1992, starting as a Retail Sales Representative covering MB, SK, and Thunder Bay. Over time, Bryan’s role expanded significantly: Bryan advanced to Retail Sales Manager for Western Canada, where he cultivated relationships with major Western retailers and gas/convenience chains. In 2006, Bryan became a partner in the company and assumed the role of General Manager, while continuing to manage Retail Western Canada. Today, he remains a key member of the senior management team, guiding the company’s strategic direction and operations across the region.

Angela Bailey

Marketing and Administration Manager

Angela Bailey, joined BMS with a strong foundation in marketing and administration. Starting as Office Manager, she quickly demonstrated her skills and leadership, evolving into her current role as Marketing & Administration Manager. Over the past nine years, Angela has played a key role in streamlining operations, working closely with the BMS Management team, supporting the sales team, and developing marketing initiatives that strengthen principal relationships and brand presence.

Kate Cook

Order Desk Coordinator

Kate Cook, joined BMS in 2021 as our Order Desk Coordinator. In this role, Kate has built strong relationships with distributors and principals, ensuring smooth communication and efficient order management. With her exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, Kate is a key part of our team and a supportive role to our sales reps and principals across the West.

Julia Denby

Administrator

Julia Denby, joined Binner Marketing & Sales in 2024 as a part-time Office Administrator. Julia plays a supportive role in our administration department.

Karen Schur

Accounting Manager

Karen oversees the accounting department at Binner Marketing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of the company’s financial operations. Her attention to detail, analytical mindset, and commitment to maintaining clear, reliable records support both the internal team and client success. Karen plays a key role in streamlining processes and providing financial insight that helps guide business decisions.

Natalie Sample

Partner / Regional Manager Foodservice MB, SK

Natalie Sample, brings to Binner Marketing over 22 years of experience in the Foodservice market. Natalie joined Binner Marketing as a Sales representative in 2013, then became a partner 2018, most recently Natalie took over the role of Regional Sales Manager for MB/SK in 2025. Natalie’s passion for food has positioned her to be a leader in the Foodservice industry. Natalie is dedicated to her operators, distributors, and principals, to ensure innovation, growth, and brand presence.

Bonnie Mularchuk

Foodservice Representative, MB

Bonnie Mularchuk, has over 45 years of Foodservice experience. Working her way through her culinary milestones, Bonnie joined BMS as a Foodservice representative 19 years ago. Bonnie is an active member of the Canadian Culinary Federation, including 8 years on the Board, Bonnie’s lifelong passion for food drives everything she does.

Ted Yanko

Foodservice Representative, Regina

Ted Yanko, bringing 29 years of extensive knowledge in all sides of the Foodservice industry to include distributor, manufacturer, and sales management. Ted joined BMS in 2016 as the Regina Sales Representative. Ted continues to build strong relationships with operators, distributors, and key accounts across the Prairies.

Larry Kowalchuk

Foodservice Representative, Saskatoon

Larry Kowalchuk, joined BMS with 37 years of experience in Foodservice. Larry’s extensive background is beneficial in driving business growth. Larry’s goal is to reconnect with his long-time operators and ensure success in the Saskatoon Market.

Jared Marsh

Partner / Regional Manager Foodservice, AB

Jared Marsh, joined BMS in 2013 bringing over 20 years of culinary experience, that began as a passion for food which he followed into a position as Kitchen Manager role at Canada’s first VPN Certified Neapolitan Pizzeria. During his time there, Jared had the distinct honor of training under Enzo Coccia, Naples’ finest Pizzaiolo, as well as Master Chef Domenic Tudda. In 2018 Jared became a partner at BMS and recently took over as the Regional Manager in AB. Jared brings a deep understanding of the Foodservice industry to support clients and help drive business growth through strategic sales and marketing solutions.

Brett Wynder

Foodservice Representative, AB

Brett Wynder, joined BMS in the summer of 2015 as a Foodservice Sales Representative based in Calgary. Brett has over 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry managing all aspects of restaurant operations. Brett’s hands-on knowledge of the industry allows him to effectively support clients and drive growth in the Foodservice market.

Rhonda Rehman

Foodservice Representative, AB

Rhonda Rehman, joined BMS in November 2025 as a Foodservice Sales Representative for Calgary and Southern AB. Rhonda is a Certified Red Seal Chef and has worked in Foodservice for 30 years. Rhonda apprenticed in fine dining, senior living, and catering. Rhonda’s vast knowledge of Foodservice enhances her everyday role in supporting clients, chefs, and managers in maximizing their sales.

Kevin Dackiw

Foodservice Representative, AB

Kevin Dackiw, joined BMS in 2016 as a Foodservice representative with Red Seal certification. Kevin’s extensive culinary background provides innovative solutions that increases sales, product knowledge and operator growth and Principal brand saturation. Kevin has a strong background in technology, and he incorporates this into his sales and service portfolio.
Kevin’s goal is to continue to be innovative and find new ways to bring products to the foodservice segment.

David McPherson

Sales Representative, Edmonton

David McPherson, brings over 25 years of experience in the food industry. David got his start working in kitchens at 16, and dedication moved him to the front-of-house role, and then to Management. David has a broad background in Foodservice, including 11 years working in the Cayman Islands. David returned to Edmonton and joined BMS in September 2023. David has a natural ability to connect with people and takes pride in assisting clients with their Foodservice needs.

Kent Stark

Regional Manager Foodservice, BC

Kent Stark, brings 40 years of experience in Foodservice, 27 years in the Supply sector and 13 in operations. Kent started at BMS in 2018 and has moved from Foodservice Representative to Regional Manager for BC. Kent’s goal is to support his clients, vendors, & partners to ensure the success of all!

Paul MacDonald

Paul MacDonald, brings 35 years in the Foodservice industry and is dedicated to helping chefs, principals, and distributors handle and navigate today’s challenges providing unique product solutions and time saving ideas. Paul’s goal is to continue to work closely with decision makers to ensure growth and success.

Zsolt Szeredi

Foodservice Representative, BC

Zsolt Szeredi, brings 25 years experience in the food industry, bringing passion, experience, and knowledge to BMS. Zsolt’s goal is to be a dedicated sales and innovation resource for our principals, distributors, and Foodservice customers.

Tim Gunn

Tim Gunn brings over 20 years of experience across the foodservice, hospitality. With frontline operations experience and a background in foodservice sales, combined with growing up in a family-run restaurant, Tim understands the real challenges operators face. Known for his relationship-driven approach, Tim partners with clients to deliver practical solutions, innovation, and sustainable growth.
